Video Devlog 1


A quick video update on the progress of the level design.

I've decided that the game will be split into three different scenes: the sand dune temple, the spacecraft interior, and the astral being's room.

The first and third scenes are mostly completed, I'm currently working on the level design of the second scene, which will likely compose the majority of the game. My goal is to create a few puzzles which capture the other-worldly feeling of the level itself. I ended up deciding on a hologram-centered puzzle which will create new access points for the player depending on the placement and pose of the humanoid hologram.

I'm going to try not to overwhelm myself with too many concepts for the spacecraft interior, will probably just finish off these last few additions and then move on to polishing the game as a whole.
